| My name is Angela Dean and I live just south of Chicago.
I'm self taught for the most part and I've always been interested in art. I have been drawing since I could hold a crayon and draw beautiful stick figures all over my mother's walls. I've worked in just about every media there is, my first love was pencil, after I started painting in 1990 it was very hard for me to go back.
In 2004 I suddenly lost 95% of the feeling in my hands and was ultimately diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. My days have been long and painful since then, trying to get the feeling back, but my love for animals and painting has kept me going even when I don't feel like I can! I've always been an animal lover and combining that with my love for painting has allowed me to create realistic pet portraits for you to remember your pet forever.
